me - it is effective.
I almost always by hand - usually bare bottom.
However, I have a small shovel (one of the pallets of toys flyback with the ball and eliminate elastic - was originally a gift from the Easter bunny but Mama appropriate where the greatest need is - lol).
I really do not, the spectrum much. I found that just in my hand when I interrupting something enough - or make sure they caught me in my pocket before a long journey:)
